Our wine cellar is curated to not only complement the food menu, but to stand on its own as an experience. From the timeless to the unexpected, our selection reflects our belief that wine should be alive with possibility.

Our Philosophy
Our wine philosophy is based on the idea that certain foods and wines have, over centuries, been chosen to complement one another. Together, they provide a greater taste experience than when enjoyed separately. A long-simmered Boeuf Bourguignon is at its best with a red Burgundy, and sole is heavenly with the right Chablis.
At the heart of Kämp’s kitchen lies French culinary tradition. Thus, our wine list focuses on so-called Old World, or European, wines. Many of the same classic wines from renowned Bordeaux estates that were available when Kämp first opened in late 1880's are still here today. Now, however, the selection is geographically much broader: excellent wines are being produced almost throughout all wine growing regions of Europe. Who would have believed just a few decades ago that British sparkling wine could reach the level of French champagne?


The craft of winemaking has developed enormously during Kämp’s almost 140-year old history, and new and exciting wines and wineries are constantly emerging. That is why our wine list is ever-evolving; we always strive to select the most interesting wines that best suit the season’s menu.
In addition, our cellar list holds treasures aged for decades for true wine enthusiasts —if not from over a century ago, then certainly several decades. We warmly recommend exploring the selection.
